Many Time Logger users need to switch quickly between different tasks. For instance, you're working on a project for Client A when Client B phones with some questions. That's why we've added a number of features to make task switching quick and easy.
Below are methods for quickly switching tasks and speeding up time recording in Time Logger. Click on the title to see more detailed information.
Using the "Memorized Descriptors" feature, you can automatically memorize and then fill in all of the Descriptors
Using "Start Memorized Record" directs Time Logger to perform three actions for you to switch tasks including stop the current task, start a new one and pop up the Memorized Descriptors window for you to pick one from the list.
Use "Start Copy of Selected Record" to complete the active task and start a copy of the selected time record. This is different than "Resume Selected Record" because it creates a second time record, while using "Resume Selected Record" keeps all of the time for that task in one time record.
Use "Resume Selected Record" when you want to return to recording time for an existing time record and you want all of the time recorded in just one time record. This is different than "Start Copy of Selected Record" which creates two separate time records.
