    An Example of the Interaction with Quickbooks

Let's say you are sending out an invoice to AR Software for $4,227.00.  The date is 1/30/06 and the invoice is invoice number 5.  When you filled out the client data for AR Software, you specified an A/R Category of "Consulting Income".

After you post the invoice, you open Quickbooks, choose File/Import, select the INVOICES.IIF file, and select OK.  You'll find that new transactions have appeared in your Account Receivable account and Consulting Income accounts.  The result might look something like this:


Note that all of the fields have been filled in properly.
