Quick Summary: Displays the invoices in Accounts Receivable How to Get There: Invoice/Accounts Receivable
This window displays a list of the invoices sent out and the payments received. Invoices are shown with a white background, and payments with a light blue background. In the figure above, invoice 1001 is selected. Note that you can change the width of any of the columns by clicking in the column heading, and dragging right or left. Here's a description of each of the controls in this window Sort By Use this control to sort the records by Number, Client Name, or Date. Show Use this to decide to display invoices only, payments only, or both. Client To show only records for a particular client, select the client name in this box, or select <Show All Clients>. Add Invoice To display the Invoice window and add a new invoice, click this button. See: Invoice Window. Add Payment To display the Payment window and add a new payment, click this button.See: Payment Window. Edit Click this button to modify the currently selected record. See: Invoice Window or Payment Window. Delete When you click this, the currently selected records will be deleted. Note that when an invoice is posted to Accounts Receivable, each time record that appears on that invoice is marked with the invoice number. Therefore, when you delete an invoice, you will also want to set those records back to "Not Billed". To do this, close the A/R window, set a filter so that only those records appear (for example, Invoice = 1234 end), and then choose Edit/Modify All Filtered Records and set "Billed" to "No". Aging Select the Client and then click this button to display the Aging window, and view the aging report that shows the total invoices, payments and amount due (if any) for this client. When you click this, the records displayed in the accounts receivable window will be printed. Import Choose this to import accounts receivable data from another application.
